ABOUT OLIVE FOUNDRY | TANIA DENNIS, MBA, PMP, CSM
ABOUT FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL STRATEGIST
My role is to step into those moments and bring things back under control — thoughtfully, calmly, and decisively.

Experience grounded in doing the work
Because of that background, I’m often trusted with initiatives that are highly visible, time-sensitive, or already under pressure — particularly in environments where precision, regulatory adherence, and coordination across vendors and systems are critical.
Trusted when clarity is needed most
Throughout my career, I’ve been asked to take on work others considered difficult — not because the work was impossible, but because it lacked structure, alignment, or clear leadership.
Early in my time as a project manager, client leaders requested that I be assigned to additional in-progress initiatives while I was still engaged elsewhere. When told they would need to wait — and that this would delay their projects — their response was simply, “That’s okay.”
I wasn’t aware of those conversations at the time. I was focused on the work in front of me. That experience reinforced something I’ve seen repeatedly since: when clarity, discipline, and calm leadership are present, trust builds naturally — without self-promotion or noise.
How I lead
I’ve never believed that clarity improves when it’s buried under excess documentation or process. In consulting environments, I learned quickly that long proposals and layered messaging often dilute understanding rather than strengthen it.
I prefer precision over padding, direction over fluff, and focus over theater.

My approach
When goals aren’t clear or shared, even capable teams struggle — priorities conflict, decisions stall, and work drifts off course. My role is to establish clarity and alignment early, so internal teams, partners, and vendors understand what success looks like and how to get there together.
That shared understanding is what allows teams to move forward with confidence and deliver results without unnecessary friction.
- I clarify what actually matters
- I surface what’s blocking progress
- I create structure without unnecessary friction
- I guide teams through uncertainty
- I keep execution focused and achievable
Leadership people rely on
I’ve worked in organizations where delivery mattered deeply — public sector healthcare, Medicaid systems, financial systems, highly regulated environments, and enterprise IT — and where leadership had little room for error.
I’m often described as the person leaders don’t worry about: someone who brings steadiness, follow-through, and sound judgment when the work carries real consequences.
I take that responsibility seriously.

Why Olive Foundry
This is not about tools.
This is not about frameworks.
This is not about methodologies.
Those things matter only when they’re applied with discipline, sound judgment, and a clear understanding of both the work and the people doing it.
What organizations need most — especially when projects stall or become complicated — is steady leadership that brings focus, alignment, and forward progress so important work can actually be completed.
Olive Foundry was created to provide exactly that.
If you’re looking for experienced leadership to help stabilize work, align people, and move forward with intention, I’d welcome a conversation.
